I have found my blog spot and am going to begin catching it up to speed and continuing my story and also anything else I deem necessary or fun.

Since the last time I posted we have moved into a fantastickly beautiful, brand new home in our home town of Cadillac. Jonathan is working in the oil and gas industry and loving it as am I!

Our two girls are now 4 and 2! CRAZY! Ella (4) is starting Preschool this coming tuesday...so surreal. It will be fun for Reina (2) and I to have some alone time together. I am sure that some days it will prove to be more difficult to keep her entertained as Ella is her primary source of entertainment and fun. Built in buddy.

My husband is...well I was going to say awesome but he just started doing some kind of dance jig, poking think to some 80's song I've never heard before and...well, less awesome for the moment...ha ha But no, really he is so great and our marriage is so rock solid and we have so much fun together. We are perfect for each other.

Ok, pictures and fun to come...=) Stick around for a bit.

***Fam. She loves going over to her Nana and Papa's house and playing outside in the yard, looking at the flowers, watching the butterflies and of course, making Nana chase her around the yard!
AND THIS, This picture was taken on the 4th of July. We were heading home from the Lake City Fireworks. Jon had gotten FRIED the day before and me....well, lets just say I have yet to spend enough time in the sun to actually have it stick...lol I could've been part of the firework show, or at least sold right along with the other glowsticks...lol

***Yet another day***

Today was a pretty uneventful day. Well it was but wasn't all at the same time.
Reina had to get her 4 month shots today. The Dr.'s office called yesterday to remind and confirm so I knew that I had it at 10:30 this morning. What did I do? I slept until 10:00 before it even dawned on me. Luckily Jon's dad called and said he could swing over and pick up Ella. That definitely took off some of the stress. I made it to her appointment on time but I was pretty much a frantic mess. What a way to start your day! lol It was all good though.

After the appointment I went over to Jon's parents to pick up Ella and ended up staying there for quite a few hours. It's always so nice just relaxing with his mom and having enjoyable conversation. I'm so blessed when it comes to wonderful in-laws! Although, by the end of the afternoon I was feeling pretty ill. I headed home where I waited for my mom to come watch the girls so I could get a little nap. I ended up waking up around 9:00...I slept for almost 3 hours! How lovely. So now, here I sit at 1:03 am and I'm just now feeling tired again.

I did get some really cute pictures of Reina though. The ones with me in them aren't so hot, lol but she looks so cute I couldn't NOT post them!! All in all, looking back at my day, I don't have much to show for it, but it sure seemed pretty hectic! Hopefully tomorrow will feel more accomplished! lol

As I mentioned before I hadn't felt well...I feel as though I need to mention it again now that I've looked at the pictures I've posted today...lol I obviously don't look the best in them...but how sweet is Reina in them all?! I had to put them on here so you can all see what a sweet thing she is!! lol alright, enough of that! I really must be going now. I PROMISE I will start to blog on things other than the girls...lol It's just so hard not to! Love you all and God Bless

***FIREWORKS***

This year Reina experienced her very first fourth of July. How exciting!!
It came complete with a cook-out at my parents house, a little relax time and then sitting on the beach watching the fireworks. Well honestly, she pretty much slept through the whole thing.
There she is smiling with her Auntie Amber, wearing the same dress Ella wore for her first 4th.

We were pretty amazed at Ella and how well she handled the fireworks. Although she thought that most of them looked like "bushes". The noise didn't bother her, she actually found it rather amusing to try and mimic the sounds they made with very enthusiastic BOOMS and BANGS with the occational "They're crackin' up". lol She made the whole thing worth while. It was 11:00 pm by the time we were loaded up and headed home. Ella fell asleep in 2 minutes grasping her 4th of July glow-in-the-dark necklaces. So sweet!

My sister Amber and I had our first "day at the beach" experience with Reina and Ella...not to be done again! lol When we first got there Ella didn't want to get dirty by playing in the sand and she didn't want to get close to the water. By the time our day at the beach was coming to an end she was filthy with sand but would only stick her feet in the water. Oh well, it wasn't a total loss. Amber and I did have a good time together and actually made ourselves go out in public with our bathing suits on! lol Which reminds me...definitely need a new one...you know what I mean Amber...lol

So, what did we learn today? Fireworks - good, beach - bad...

Oh yes, Jon and I really enjoyed the day as well. Once we had ate and the girls were happy, Jonathan and I headed downtown in search of a sweatshirt for Ella because I thought, THOUGHT, I didn't have one for her to wear to the fireworks. It was so nice being able to spend some time with just one another. My time is usually pretty consumed with Reina seeing as how she's still nursing, so it was so nice to just spend time together. It was just an all around great day!
I LOVE MY FAMILY!!!!!

***My Vacation from Blogging***

Isn't it crazy how quickly you can forget that there was something very important to you that you've begun to ignore? For instance...MY BLOG...all you poor people have probably thought I'd fallen off the face of the Earth. In a way I have, it's called being a mother of 2. lol You pretty much fall off the social map for a while. At least until you can become completely adjusted and have gotten enough rest to actually feel like doing something productive.

Well, I am proud to announce that I AM BACK! Ella has begun the process of cutting her 2 year molars...yay...last night was full of interupted sleep due to her needing medicine ever 4 hours due to the pain. Poor baby. Although I am extremely proud to say that little miss Reina slept soundly until 6:00 before needing to be fed. Which brings me to my next point. SHE'S GETTING SO BIG!!! I can't believe how sweet little Reina is. Talk about having the joy of the Lord...that baby is happy 97% of the time. The other 3% is reserved for when she's cranky due to being hungry, tired or just needing to be held and talked to.

Ok, so I've now announced my return and will work like crazy to stay committed! Thanks for not forgetting about me! lol

Oh and Happy Father's Day to all you daddy-o's out there!

***Life***

Sometimes the stresses of every day life really begin to wear on me. I think a big part of this is that I never really vent out any stresses that I may have. I'm great at going about every day life without flinching, but then as soon as the girls are sleeping and I finally have a second to myself, I'm caught in a whirl-wind of stress. Sometimes I really have no need to be stressed, but I still find something to freak out about...other times, I have a totally legit reason to be stressed.

I wish I were one of those people who just never stressed out about anything. I think there was a time when I was that person but I've long since displaced her somewhere.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not a "compulsive stresser", my non-stress days do outweight my stress days, however, it just seems like I stress more because I tend to remember all the days that I've been stressed out and they cancel out most of my good days....I hate that.

The lack of sleep is catching up to me I think...=) I guess now all that is left to say is, "thanks for letting me vent to you."

***A decrease in time***

Well, I've learned that moving from one to two is pretty wild!! lol Don't get me wrong, it has been a VERY smooth transition and everything is going so well, BUT I've been finding it very difficult to break away long enough to keep my blog updated let alone keep up with e-mailing and everything else. SO - I've finally got a chance to update quickly.

Reina is beginning to show a little bit of personality. Today she really smiled at me for the first time while I was talking to her. That was a great moment. Her very first smile ever and I was the only one to see it, it was directed to me...awesome. Today Ella realized that she could finally reach the light switch in her bedroom, after I had put her to bed. Yeah, not so much fun, I hope that the infatuation with it fizzles out quickly with her.

Jonathan and I are doing well. He loves the fact that he's surrounded by girls...lol He's been such an amazing help.

PRAISE THE LORD IT'S SPRING!!!! I have been waiting for this for quite some time. Finally I can get Ella outside to burn some energy and also for me to get out there and get some sun...I've turned in to quite the little glow stick.

Well this will have to be all for now, I've got some things I need to get done before I can go to bed. I will try to get on here more often but I make no promises! Our second daughter was born on March 7th at 12:54 a.m. It was a mere 24 minutes after my water broke that Reina Noel McMahon was born. Thank the Lord for supernatural childbirth! She weighed 8 lbs 2 oz and was 20 3/4 inches long.
Reina is now 10 days old and has been nothing but a blessing since the day she arrived. She, like her big sister Ella, is very easy going, doesn't spit up, has a sweet disposition and is a great eater/sleeper. I have a feeling that she and Ella will be a bit alike in terms of temperment and they do have very similar features although they do each have a look of their own.
I'm doing very well. I didn't need to have any stitches or anything so the healing process was very quick. I'm finally catching up on my sleep so that helps TONS. My only dilema now is clothing! lol I'm not worried though. You then have to tag four unsuspecting fellow bloggers, who then are to do the same. Then lastly, you have to mention who tagged you and include a link to their site. (I think that covers it). And we're off...

Four Jobs I’ve Had:
1. I can not believe it!! It has actually been a really smooth transition.
Two days ago Jonathan's grandma took the three of us shopping because she wanted to buy Ella a few things. She was the most excited to buy Ella "pull-ups" because she said that ever since she heard of such a thing she's been excited to buy them. Not only did she buy the pull-ups, but she bought a potty chair that comes fully equipped with songs, lights and other sounds and Ella's toddler bed.
The first night was a little rough. Ella was so excited about her new bed, she just wasn't as excited to actually sleep in it. After a couple hours of trying to make her happy, Jonathan went in with her and he sat in the rocking chair next to Ella in her bed saying repeatedly, "It's ok Ella, daddy's here" until she finally fell asleep and he could sneak out. HOW SWEET IS THAT?! I was so impressed. What a great daddy!
Nap time has been a little trying. Since it's light out and what not, she has a little harder time knocking out. Well I can't say that both days have been rough. Her first nap was perfect but her second one never had a chance. She kept getting out of bed and banging on the door as she said "Open the door" over and over. That was earlier today and she never ended up getting her nap. She did however go to bed a half hour earlier than usual. No complaints here!
Once we get our pictures developed of her first night in her bed I'll be sure to post them. They're pretty stinkin' sweet. We are going to get her toddler bedding this week, that should be pretty exciting! Keep us in your prayers as we continue our transitional period from "baby" to "big girl". Potty training should be interesting!! lol -Much love

***Breath of Fresh Air***

Every once in a while I have one of those days that just starts out cruddy for no real reason. You just wake up feeling irritable and it just carries on throughout the entire day...I hate those days. Fortunately for me, I have Ella. She can make any day better. No matter what the circumstance, one smile and "I love you" from her is enough to melt even the hardest heart.

Wednesday was one of those days. I just wasn't feeling myself and at first Ella was a little cranky, but then in an act of sheer desperation to get her off my case I sat down on the floor to play with her. You would've thought that I just handed her the world on a plate made out of gold and diamonds. It was amazing how just that small little act changed both her and my attitudes. We were laughing, crashing cars into one another, tickling and placing random objects into her "pumpkin jill" bucket.

While we were sitting there enjoying our time together, Jonathan's mom "the nana" called and wanted to spend the afternoon with Ella. I was glad that Ella and I had gotten over our little "crank-fest" and a little time to myself sounded perfect so I told Nana that Ella could go.

Since my sisters are both gone and I'm not working anymore, I have a lot of free time on my hands. My house (which used to be "picked up" never spotless) is now clean all the time and I've even picked up some hobbies. Once Ella left I got out my pictures and Her babybook and went to town.

Four hours or so later Ella and Nana pulled in the driveway and I was thrilled to have her home, even though she went straight in to have a nap. I just think, what if I hadn't given her some of the one on one time she obviously needed, the one on one time I needed? Would she have been cranky all day? I really believe I would've been. This just made me think of all the times I've been in the presence of someone during their "cranky day". If I would've just sat down and talked with them for a bit, or just paid some attention, could I have helped change their day? I just realized how self absorbed I can be sometimes, we all can be. So the next time you run into someone and they bite off your head due to a "cranky day" do something about it, don't take it to heart and have it ruin your day or make you bitter towards them, just feel them out and give them a minute. In the long run, it will make you both happier and your day lighter.

***In To Something Good***

I've never been more encouraged than I have been as of lately when it comes to life, prosperity and in knowing that the Lord has something huge that He has planned for my life and the lives of all the people in my family.

Brother Hagin prophecied that the year 2006 would be a year of prosperity and "a year of heaven on earth". I've claimed that for myself and my family. I believe that this is going to be a huge year for many of us.

Today I read my sister Amber's blog and it just furthered my excitement. I know that the Lord is standing true to what He spoke to Brother Hagin. I've already begun to see it in my own life, but have been hearing about it from other people (i.e. Amber) who don't even know about the prophecy. This is so encouraging to me and I HAD to share it with the rest of you.

I know that satan has been trying to get me down and I know that it's because he knows something great is going to happen in my life. This pregnancy has been AWESOME. I've had absolutely no problems with it. As soon as I started telling people how great it has been, satan started attacking me. The first attack came on Christmas Eve in the form of a letter from my OB/GYN clinic stating that my glucose levels tested "abnormally high" during the glucose tolerance test (147) and that I was going to have to go to the Hospital for a 3 hour long test to determine if I had gestational diabetes. I was crushed, but after praying and relying on the Lord and not claiming sickness, my test results came back perfect. That was just the first of many different attacks so I know that something amazing is coming and I just can't wait! I've been waiting on the Lord for so long and He is faithful to complete what He's started in my life.

I hope that this has been encouraging to you and I hope that you begin to claim only the best for your life and to believe that it will happen. PRAISE GOD for financial freedom, health, amazing jobs, new relationships, new frienships and a fire that burns so hot for Him. I can't help but be extremely excited, not only for myself, but for all of you!

***A Night Out***

When you have kids you discover that "a night out" can mean anything. It can actually mean leaving the kids with a babysitter while you and your spouse go enjoy some time together, or it could mean something as silly as actually getting out of the house WITH your kids and going to the local store. The funny thing is that normally I'm equally as happy to do either of those things! lol
Last night Jonathan, Jon's friend Earl, Ella and Myself went over to my parents house in Lake City for Lasagna and fun. Once Ella warmed up to Earl she began serenading him with songs such as "the ABC's" "BaaBaa Black Sheep" "Twinkle Twinkle Little Star" and even counting to 10 in Spanish. Mom and I laughed pretty hard at her and Earl just stood there smiling in amazement. Too cute.
Ella (as mentioned in my last post) has an uncanny ability to remember things. The last time we were at my parents house Ella had slept in my mom's room. When my mom went to climb into bed she said "There are crumbs in my bed" and began wiping them off. Ella thought it was the funniest thing ever and hasn't forgotten it since. All last night she would walk around saying "Crumbs in my bed, crumbs in my bed" to which we all would laugh.
We knew it was time to go when my dad was going to take Ella down to see the "pretty stars" in Olivia's room and she told my mom, "Good night, Love you, see you in the morning" as she walked past on her way downstairs. What a sweet lady.
So, I can honestly say that it was a very fun night out. Not too eventful, but just really nice.

***SERIOUSLY***

With both of my sisters currently out of the State of Michigan and a temporary leave from my job at the church due to budget cut-backs, I've spent my days at home doing the "stay at home mom" thing. This consists of cleaning, cooking, playing with Ella and beginning to prepare our home for the soon arrival of baby girl McMahon #2.
I've actually really enjoyed being home. I feel like I get so much more accomplished in a week than I had while I was working. I really love the fact that I am here to experience Ella growing up. Every day brings something new with her, whether it's a new phrase in her vocabulary, saying her numbers in spanish out of the blue, singing a new song, noticing that her hair is almost long enough to fit it all back in a pony-tail or just simply getting a new adorning look from her. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever work again!! lol I absolutely love being a stay at home mom. I can honestly say that it is everything that I thought it would be and so so so much more. I now have a new appreciation for stay at home mother's everywhere!
The other day Ella was really trying to push the envelope with something and I had been getting after her for it with no prevail. Finally, I got down to her eye-level and simply said, "Ella, Seriously, you need to stop." This worked much to my amazement. A couple of days later she was getting in to something and I said her name in that "mommy tone" and gave her that look of disapproval to which she replied, "Seriously Ella, stop". How could I not laugh at that?! lol She's too stinkin' cute!
Although some days are hard and seem like I'm just getting nowhere, they are very few and extremely far between. The good overwhelming outweighs the bad. It really is "rewarding".
I know that tomorrow will bring yet another "new" story about and I'll do my best to get on and share it with the whole lot of you! lol well at least my sister's and husband who I know check this regularly. 'Til tomorrow...

****Here and Gone****

Ok ok, so I know I said that the next time I wrote Olivia would be here with me. So I'm a little slow on the draw. Yesterday My mom, Amber and myself put Olivia back on the plane to Cali. It was sad, but good. I guess you could even say bitter sweet. I knew that Olivia was excited to get back and see her friends and I also knew that even though she was going to leave and I wouldn't see her for another few months, that they would go by quickly.
The four of us "Miller girls" drove down to Grand Rapids on Wednesday night, ate at Logan's Steakhouse, did a little odds and ends shopping at a local Meijer and then headed back to our hotel room to relax and have a little fun our last night with one another.
We took silly pictures causing us to laugh until our guts hurt, ate junk food, and just were silly. Once it was time to sleep we all joked about our mom's snoring habits again causing us to laugh until it hurt, then we said our "I love you's" and hit the hay.
Our night however was short. In all we got around 4 1/2 hours of sleep MAYBE. Olivia's flight was scheduled to leave at 6:30 AM...this meant that we needed to be there at least by 5:30. We all got ourselves together and headed to the airport which was only a few miles away from our hotel, waited in the hideously long line, checked the luggage in and then headed for the terminal. It was a sad walk, yet none of us were crying, which really surprised me.
We gave kisses, said our good-byes and off she went down the hall. There was a line so I quickly moved over to the other side of the hall and yelled "BYE LIVY"...she wasn't expecting it so I got a huge smile and a loud "LOVE YOU" in return then she vanished.
Am and I were pretty hungry so we got a muffin and a coffee from the starbuck's there in the airport and headed back to our room where we put our jammies back on and caught some more zzz's. Olivia did a good job keeping us posted on where she was and what not. That was reassuring.
We then shopped a bunch and headed back to Cadillac and back to our normal routines. In a week, I'll be kissing Amber good-bye as she heads out to go on Tour with "Zoe Girl". Hopefully it will go as well as it did when Livy went.
I'll do my best to update more frequently!! =) Lots of Love! -Lacey

*****CHRISTMAS MADNESS!!!*****

OK, so Christmas is THIS SUNDAY!!! I can't believe it. However, I still have not finished my shopping for "the Jon" which is a huge thing because tomorrow is my one and only day left to shop for him. I no longer have time to order anything via online because most likely, it won't make it here on time. This means that tomorrow I am heading to T.C. where hopefully I'll be able to find everything and anything I could possibly need to get him. Trust me, I have a little list but that just means it will most likely be even harder to find what I need. My guess is that for some reason everyone else is going to want the same thing that "the Jon" is asking for so I'll have a hard time finding it...but maybe not, maybe the Lord will provide everything I need in one big sweep....that would be FANTASTIC-O!!! I hope that many of you are NOT in this position seeing as how it could truly throw one into a coma like state, drooling like a mad person, lifeless on the mall bench. Lets hope I have better luck than that.

I don't believe that I have much else to say than that, so I ask you, all of you...find compassion for me and PRAY HARD TOMORROW! lol I will need it!

***Shopping Day Countdown***

I CAN NOT believe that Christmas is a mere 6 days away!!! I still need to finish my shopping for "the Jon". I did a great job getting everyone else done, but I tell ya what, trying to track down all the different things he wants is not an easy task. So now, I must go into "super tracking" mode in order to have it all done before we celebrate Christmas.

One thing I am glad about is the fact that I've got 3 whole days of Christmas ahead of me. This Friday we will spend the whole day with Jonathan's family. We will head over there, open gifts, then have a HUGE CHRISTMAS FEAST. His mom is one of the best cooks, next to my own mom of course!! Then on Christmas Eve Morning, Jonathan, Ella and I will have our own Christmas and have a nice little lunch, then at 6 o'clock we will head over to my grandparents where we will have "the pollington christmas". This consists of everyone in my family, including extended family, getting together for a great dinner and then the chinese gift exchange. Then lastly Christmas morning we'll get up and head to church, then after we will go over to my parents house and spend all of Christmas day over there. I'M SO EXCITED....HOWEVER, it will be nice to have this all done and over with. No more stressing over what to get, how much is too much or too little to spend on someone. Just relaxing...it will be nice.

Praise God that He has blessed me with such great families to share my holidays with. I hope that all of you out there have a very blessed Christmas and a SAFE New Years Eve/Day.

***OLIVIA'S COMING***

I CAN'T WAIT!!!! Olivia's flight will arrive in GR around 3:15 tomorrow so my Mom, Dad, Amber, Ella, Myself and Amy are all going to be there to welcome her home. She's going to freak out when she sees how big Ella has gotten and for that matter, she'll freak out when she sees how big I've gotten! lol Although, for being 6 months pregnant, I'm not that big yet. Oh I just can't wait!! I miss her so much. It will be so much fun having her here for like a month!! Then the next time she comes home will be because there's a new baby!!! CRAZY!!

Honestly, this time around being prego has went by so much faster than it did with Ella. I'm sure that part of it is because I've got Ella to chase around and keep me busy. It also helps keep my mind off of "being pregnant" and more so just on "being mommy". Another reason why is that I haven't been near as sick with this one as I was with Ellerz. I don't mean just the normal morning sickness stuff, but more like being hospitalized for a kidney infection, sick. So I think that all made a huge difference.

The next time I write, LIVY WILL BE HERE!!!! WHAT A BLAST!!! Ella looked so cute all bundled up in her snow gear. Like a little purple and pink marshmallow. I'll have to post some pictures of it later. Anywho, the snow was so deep and Ella's little legs had a little bit of a hard time trying to trudge through it so every once in a while I'd hear her little voice call out, "Trip in snow, trip in snow" so I'd turn around to find that she had indeed fallen over and usually was lying on her belly with snow up to her chin and a huge smile beeming on her face.
We've got a huge tree out in the front yard that we really enjoyed playing in. On the side facing the house there was an opening so you could walk under it, but then all around it the branches were heavy with snow so they bowed down and touched the ground making for a great little "fort" to play in. I lifted Ella up and set her on one of the lower branches, she liked it so she gave me some kisses and huge smiles.
I started a snowman, but I wasn't exactly wearing the "appropriate" kind of gloves to pack snow, so I had to stop short. As of right night we just have a ball of snow hanging out in the yard, but the rest is yet to come.
Ella and I will definitely be spending more time outside together. It was so much fun being out there and running around with her, chasing one another, falling over in the snow and just being silly. Once we got back inside it was nice too. We both got something warm to drink, watched a little Nemo and then took a nap. So refreshing! Being outside was the little something that she and I both needed to brighten our day, I highly recommend that you get yourself out there for a little bit just to enjoy the sun and fresh air.

***Christmas is COMING***

Is it just me or did winter get here over night? One day it's raining/snowing on and off, our un-raked yard is showing clearly and the next day, everything is pure white and glistening. You may think I'm crazy, but I love sitting in my house, layered with cozy clothing and a blanket, watching TV with the lights dimmed and the curtains open. There is just such a comforting feeling in that! I am not a huge fan of the cold and wetness that comes with the snow, but the look is so relaxing.
This brings me to my next thought...the perfect Christmas wish list. Sure, there are always the usuals such as certain items of clothing or that one really expensive "gadget" that you must have, but then there are the little things. These are a few of the "little things" I think every girl should be asking for this Christmas.

I am a new fan of everything Sephora. One of the best things found there, in my opinion, is Philosophy's "Present" Clear makeup. In a nut-shell, this serum serves as a makeup primer. You rub it in like moisturizer, wait 2 minutes, and then apply makeup as usual. My sister Amber, who is rather accessory savvy, introduced me to this magic serum. The first time I used it various people commented on how nice of skin I had and when they touched my face they commented on how soft my skin was. Naturally I'd like to take the compliment and run, but I felt it necessary to fill them in on my new-found love. It really does fulfill it's claim to 'give your face an airbrushed look.' I really really recommend you try this product. Trust me when I say that you will not be disappointed. This is one of those "can't go wrong" Christmas gifts. This paired with a tube of “Lip Venom” by Du Wop will be sure to enlighten You, or the recipient, and leave you/them feeling "fresh".

One last item that I believe would make you or your friend/relative extremely happy is a little "eye lifter" called "Eye Brite" by Benefit. It looks pinky in the stick but blends right in with your skin and leaves a very light shimmer around your eyes. You use this to give your "weary" eyes a little pick-me-up. Place a quick swipe in each corner of your eyes and blend. You'll look wide awake and ready for action. This is perfect for afternoon touch-ups.

I hope that these few things helps you with your Holiday shopping woes! Good luck and enjoy the season!!

*****Thanksgiving*****

What a GREAT holiday!! Hanging out with family members while you eat amazing food in large quantities. The best part though is lounging around the whole rest of the day then warming up some left-overs and experiencing the meal all over again. Obviously it's not all about the food, or the lounging. It's about family, it's about all the things that the Lord has blessed you with, whatever that may be. What am I thankful for? That is probably the easiest question to answer!

**What I am thankful for**

First and foremost, I'm thankful for everything the Lord has done for me. I'm thankful that he has taken me as His daughter and keeps me, and my family, protected. I'm thankful that he always supplies our needs and desires. I love that he listens to me and always knows what's best for me. I love that no matter what the day has been like, that in just 5 minutes with Him, it's better. I'm thankful that his mercies are new every morning.

For a husband that loves me unconditionally, who is always there for me no matter what the situation. He's strong, loves the Lord and is working along with me to raise our family in a home that is built on the Lord and everything that we believe in. A husband who can't leave the house without giving me a kiss and making me laugh. Who can't fall asleep until he's told me he loves me. A husband that prays for me and with me. A husband that knows me better than I know myself. Who can joke around with me and make me laugh until it hurts. A husband who loves to shop, I hear they are hard to come by. =)

I'm thankful for a beautiful daughter. A daughter who is also a friend and a companion. A tiny person who is constantly making me smile and laugh. I love watching her as she finds pleasure in the small things that I would normally take for granted...(ie. flushing the potty or dancing around the house in only her diaper). I'm thankful for the radiance that she brings into not only our home but also into our lives. A quick smile, "I love you's" at the drop of a hat, and lots of kisses. A daughter who loves to pray and even occationally asks if we can pray over our food again mid-way through. A daughter who will grow to love the Lord and to have an intimate relationship with him. Praise God!!

I am also thankful for my sisters. Two individuals that encompass so much of me. Two beautiful women who I have found to be the funniest people I know. Two strong, intelligent individuals who rely solely on the Lord and who have become people that I truly admire. My two best friends. The girls I run to when I need advice or just someone to talk to. My two beauty consultants. The people I can be "undignified" with...=) I laugh with them and cry with them. I share every aspect of my life with them and I wouldn't want it any other way.

For my parents who raised three strong women who love the Lord. They have been the two individuals who I base my parenting on. I respect them so highly for raising us with such love and care. For raising us in a Godly house. They never pushed us or forced us to do anything. I respect them so highly. Now that I myself am a parent, I see what it was like for them. The sacrifices that were made and the amount of compassion and love that it takes to discipline and teach a child. Not am I only thankful for how they raised us, but I'm thankful for the relationship I have with them now. I'm so thankful that I can come to them with anything. That they are able to be not only be parents to me, but friends with me. I'm so thankful that I have such a strong relationship with my parents. I can share everything with them and never feel like they look upon me differently. I'm thankful that I can always count on them to be praying for me. To have comfort in knowing that they are praying for me on a daily basis. They are the true definition of what a parent should be.

I am also thankful for my in-laws. They are truly amazing people. I can be myself with them and I love that. I've heard horror stories of "monster-in-laws" and am so glad to have been blessed with Dave and Karen as my second set of parents. They are strong and loving. They love the Lord and are true witnesses to what it means to be like Christ. They are very much so like my own parents and for that I respect them highly. I truly have been blessed.

And who could forget my sweet sister-in-law Jessica? She's such a strong, straigh-forward woman. I really respect her strength. She can be as tough as nails, but as sweet as candy at the same time. She's funny and is someone that you feel so relaxed around. Being with her is just like being with one of my own sisters. I admire her in every aspect of the word. She's a beautiful, adventurous and successful woman. I am glad that she is a part of my life.

Lastly there are all of my friends that have been such a key part in who I am. There are Amy and Donielle who have been more like sisters than best friends. Then there are all my friends from High School, many of whom I don't see anymore, but they were a key part in who I have become and for that I am forever in debt to them. Then there are my newer friends, Heather, Koralyn, Jesse, Mary, Lisa and Lori who each hold special places in my heart. All of them are amazing women and I've learned so much from each of them. They've been here to listen to the things I've struggled with and are right there on the same page with me. We never have to feel ashamed speaking our minds because we've all been to the same place and all have good advice for one another.

As you can see, I've got many things to be thankful for and I'm not ashamed to say that there's even more! The Lord has truly blessed me abundantly. My cup runneth over. I'm so glad that there is a whole day set aside just to remember how blessed you are and to really just be forced to sit and think about it. Thank you to everyone who is involved in my life. For each and every one of you, I am thankful for. YAY!!! I love boys, don't get me wrong, I just really wanted to have another girl so that She and Ella could have the same experience that I had growing up with my 2 sisters!! I love them sooooooo much and I really wanted Ella to have it to!! YAY!!! I do have to say, however, that the girl that did our ultrasound was a little on the strange side. First off, Jonathan was just looking around the woman so He could see the screen, and our next baby. She asked him to move around to the other side of the room because she didn't like having people look over her shoulder. Well I can understand that if you're reading a book or typing something important on your computer and some random person is invading your space, BUT THIS IS OUR FIRST GLIMPS OF OUR CHILD! goodnight lady, get a clue! Or at least turn the screen so we can see! Then, when Jonathan and I expressed our excitement in knowing that it was a girl and she quickly bit back with "Yeah, until they start P.M.S.ing". We thought that it was a tad strange but blew it off. Then she goes off on a rampage about some real life E.R. show she watched and some guy with a tritant through his head...I'm sorry, but what in the heck does that apply to at all here?! Oh well! When all was said and done we took our pictures and started calling friends and family immediately to tell them all the great news!!! Ella hasn't a clue what we're talking about! lol But when my sister was born I'm sure I didn't have a clue either....at least, not that I can remember! YAY!!! A house full of girls!!! Jon's loving it!!

***Updates on my "oh so wonderful" Life***

Well, I am now another year older which brings me to the "big" 21. Half the time I feel a great deal older than that, but the other half I feel like I'm still in High School trying to stay awake in Mr. Smith's Economics class. It's so funny how birthday's become less important as you get older. I don't say this because I'm like, "oh it sucks I'm getting old", no that's not it at all. It's more like, "yep, it's my birthday, woohoo...Ella do you want to watch ELMO?" lol. The day pretty much consisted of me going to renew my license, which also included finally changing my name and address on it seeing as how I've now been married for 2 years but you wouldn't know it if you looked at my license. My license would tell you that I was living in a house that had burnt to the ground and that I was in fact still "Lacey Miller". So it was a good thing that I had to actually make myself go and change it. Later on Jonathan and I went and got dinner at the Timber's, which was "oh so delicious"! We had a lot of fun...I was rather loopy because I had this sinus thing going on so I was hopped up on drugs. Funny. Then we went and rented "Kicking and Screaming" which I really did enjoy. We then headed home to find that my sweet mother, who was watching Ella while we were out, had made me a yummy birthday cake. So all in all, it turned out to be a really good day...a really good birthday.
Tonight we're heading over to my parents house where I will get to celebrate my birthday yet again! Yay! This is a tradition. My mom makes whatever I want for dinner and then we have a cake or whatever I choose. Open gifts and just have fun while my mom takes silly pictures. This is the first year that I will celebrate this day without little Livy. I MISS YOU OLIVIA!!! But my thoughts are with you.
So as you can see...my life hasn't been all together too exciting. Hopefully it will start to perk up here shortly! Oh, and before I forget! Monday we find out if McMahon Baby #2 is a boy or a girl!!! YAY, so I'll be sure to put up pictures and let you all know! Talk to you later! -Lacey

***A Fun Day With Ella***

Today Ella and I had a blast together. We got up early, as usual, had breakfast, got ready and then played pretty hard with some shapes and other objects, she makes it fun. A couple hours later we headed out to meet my Dad for lunch at Bob Evan's. I ordered this fried chicken thing and it was completely hollow!!! It was the strangest thing. Our waitress was a wack-job, totally out in left field, so she was really of no help the entire meal. Once we were through eating Ella and I headed home. (thus completing trip #1 into town)

When we got home, Ella went down for a nap during which I took an "oh so relaxing" bath and thought about what I was going to make for dinner. Once Ella was awake and ready to go, we loaded back up into the car and headed for the grocery store. On the way there we passed this little consignment shop called "A,B,C'S". It was upon seeing this that I decided we must stop and check it out on the way back home. We got to the grocery store, did our shopping, dropped off a couple rolls of film and headed to "A,B,C'S". Immediately I could tell that it was going to be a nice place. There were swings and saucers outside that were practically brand new and priced to sell. If you read my previous post about my "ebay addiction" phase that I've been going through again, you'll know that I've been looking for cute winter clothing. I had seen a Children's Place sweater that I absolutely had to have, but the bidding went OUT OF CONTROL at the end and was going for way more than I wanted to pay...WELL, my lucky day, I found the exact sweater for $4.99!!!! SOLD and we were out the door. I will be going back there again. (trip to town #2)

As soon as we stepped in the door I began making dinner, chicken and rice one of my favorites! Ella was great playing by herself and did a great job of stearing clear of the kitchen. We demolished our dinner, cleaned up and headed out the door once again to get ice cream from Dairy Queen and then to see Great Grampy Mac and Great Granny Ruby. Once we got there, Ella went CRAZY, running all over, climbing on everything, saying everything that popped in her little head. She would run back and forth from their kitchen to their living room squealing and laughing. It was so much fun! Until I smelled an unpleasant odor coming from her buns! lol Then we were off to Papa's and Nana's to change her pants, play for a little bit and then head for home. (trip to town #3)

Ok, so maybe for some of you a trip to town consists of hopping in your car, driving two blocks and you're there. For me, it takes a good 10 minutes just to get into town. This means that I spent an hour in my car today just counting the 10 minutes it took to get from point A to point B not counting anything in between. That's a stinkin' lot of driving, but it was totally worth it!!

Now tomorrow is another day that we have got nothing planned. However, I'd rather not spend as much time traveling. If you're going to be in the area, give me a shout and we'll do lunch! =)
More to come tomorrow! She had just woke up from her nap to find her "Aunt B", my sister Amber, was visiting. Ella loves all of her Aunties and loves having them over to visit. If you look closely enough at her little chin, you'll notice a big red spot. That would be from her tripping and falling over when she was sick and getting a rug-burn on her chin. She is extremely bright, but falls over quite a bit...lol Don't all kids? Luckily it was healed up by yesterday. She had gotten her pictures taken at the Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids...We'll talk more about that later!! =) Loves!!!! I do realize that it has been almost an entire month since I last wrote and that is bad! =) It's not even like I've been super crazy busy or anything...HOWEVER, I have had other things to do while online. My addiction for bidding on e-bay has returned. I've been buying Ella coats and clothing and have been searching for anything and everything else. Doll Houses, toys, books, bikes you name it I've looked for it. Once we get within a couple months stretch of Christmas, I go bonkers. I haven't started looking for stuff for jonathan because honestly...I have no clue what the boy wants. He definitely isn't in NEED for anything...He's got more "stuff" than any girl I've ever met!! So I have been absolutely glued to the computer....but have not had "time" to update my dear sweet blog. My apologizes to the few of you who check this out every once in a while.

One great thing that happened this last week was Jonathan and My 2 year anniversary!!! I can not believe it! It seems like we just got married. Jonathan thinks it's pretty cool that now when someone asks how long we've been married he can simply reply, "It's been a couple years". lol

A couple weeks ago our little Ella-bean got an ear infection and was running a fever for a couple of days. This in turn made her fussy and clingy and irritable, not to mention made me CRAZY. It was rather trying on my patience to be honest. However, we got through it just fine and realized that when she's not sick she is so much fun to be around and are so thankful for that little reminder. You should never take a happy baby for granted!

One of my best friends, Amy, came and stayed with me one night. The next day we went to this garage sale that was being held inside an old office appliance store. IT WAS AWESOME!!! The sale was put on by 4 or 5 different individuals. One of which owned a specialty store in Indiana that she had closed and had TONS of stuff to sell. For those of you who have been to persnickety here in Cadillac, the stuff was a lot like that! Cool picture frames and decor...it was awesome. The best part? It was the last day of the sale so everything was HALF OFF....I got a crud-load of stuff for $13 bucks....then on the way home, I got a brand new bread maker for $6.00's I WAS PUMPED!! I then came home to find a sweet new chair chilling in our living room. A friend of my dad's had gotten new furniture and we got the old new chair...lol What a great day!

So I guess I have been pretty busy. But that still is no excuse for me not writing! I will continue to do the very best that I can to keep you all from being utterly lost and confused without my "oh so important" blog...lol So kidding! But honestly, for those of you who do read this...Thanks!

Will write again soon...(when I have something worth writing!!) My heart cries out for those families. I don't usually get teary over the news, but my gosh, I wanted to just start bawling! My heart literally ached for those people. But ya know what? We are the children of a Father who loves and cares for us and cares for all of those people. They will rebuild their homes, their stores, their lives...and hopefully they will flood to the Lord as he is our strength in times of trouble. He is the rock that we can stand firm on and no flood, no storm, no hurricane can ever take that from us. My prayer for those people is that they begin to see that they can shout out to the Lord and he will hear them. This storm was not caused by him. Many people have and will blame him, but the truth his, he restores that which was broken, he wouldn't break it just to fix it. Ok, I know this sounds like I'm preaching to ya....but the truth is....this sort of thing just gets me fired up for God.
I highly recommend that you purchase the CD "God He Reigns" by Hillsong...the song "Yours is the Kingdom" is great!! made me feel like I was back in Oklahoma in church just praising God all out! Man I really needed that...anywho, I know this was a random blog...but it's just what all is on my mind today. Alright, tomorrow will be full of exciting things I'm sure!!! =) Loves! -Lacey

Isaiah 53:4-6:
4 Surely he took up our infirmaties and carried our sorrows, yet we considered him stricken by God, smitten by him, and afflicted.
5 But he was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon him, and by his wounds we are healed.
6 We all, like sheep, have gone astray, each of us has turned to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all.

****This Crazy Ride We Call "Life"****

Every day is like a new ride, a new roller-coaster. There are new bends and twists whenever you aren't expecting them. Some are fun and exciting, others are weird, awkward and not so much fun. I recently ran into a friend of mine from High School, we never were the closest friends, but we were always able to talk to one another. It's amazing how 2 years can change your life so much. It's crazy how it actually equips you for the random points in your life when someone else is going through that exact same thing that you went through a year ago and you just happened to run into you at the exact point in which they need your help. I found this to be a huge factor in why I ran into this girl. I'm sorry for the situation she is in, but I praise God that he brought me to her when she needed me the most. I've decided not to go into details at all, some of you readers just might know her. This was a good twist.
I've recently found out that my older sister, Amber, will most likely being going on tour with her good friends who are in a popular Christian singing trio known as "ZoeGirl". This is a GREAT bend for Amber, for me however, it's a not so fun one. See, with Olivia being in California (sad twist) and now Amber possibly being gone on tour, it leaves little ol' me here. Yes I have my own family and in-laws that I adore, and who can forget my wonderful parents...but nothing is as good as a sister being close. I was especially sad because Am would be gone up until mid March, well I'm due on March 15th....so I'm sad in thinking that she might not be here when little "Mac baby" number 2 finally gets here. So this, is a sad twist.
The good twists and bends definitely out number the sad ones...but the sad ones seem to always set a little heavier. Why is that? Why do we allow ourselves to be so easily saddened when so many good things are happening at the same time? It's easier to be sad than it is to be happy. Why do we have to try so hard to be happy sometimes? Hmm...ok, obviously I'm tired so my thinking is a little less than "logic" lol...so I will say good night and go get some beauty sleep, Lord knows I could use some! =) Until tomorrow! -Lacey

"Class Reunion"

Tonight my friend Sarah got married. This in itself is quite huge because Sarah was always "anti-marriage". She married this great guy, Alex.
When I first got to her wedding, I took one look around and saw a lot of people I hadn't seen in a long time and realized how much I missed them. Whether we were really close at one point or just casual friends, it didn't matter, I missed them. My friend Donielle and I joked saying that it was like a class reunion, even though I really graduated the year after all of my friends. It felt good to see them all back together, in one spot, having a good time.
Obviously some looked different, thinner, new hair styles, new piercings, pregnant and just more mature. But everyone looked great!
Isn't it crazy how even after you haven't seen someone or spoke with someone in over a year, the minute you get thrown back into your old "social circle" with them, it's so easy to pick back up right where you left off? Sure, you know a lot of time has passed, but you still have that connection, that tie.
I wasn't able to stay for the dancing and what not, my mom was here with Ella because Jonathan had a Youth Leadership Meeting at church, and obviously I was at the reception. She had stayed with Ella until really late/early the night previous and so I didn't want to keep her for too long. However, it would've been fun to have spent some more time with everyone.
Well, enough for tonight. Jonathan is home and we are going to watch a movie then go to bed. It's so awesome to have him to come home to. Love him much!! Talk to ya all later! -Lacey

**Family Camp**

Well, the first couple days of Family Camp were a blast! Spent a lot of time down in the water and on the beach. Just relaxing and hanging out with friends. Then, I caught a bug. I was throwing up and sleeping all day Wednesday. What a bust! I was the third person to get sick while we were there. By 1 am Jonathan came into our cabin and told me that our friends Corey and Heather were heading home because Heather and three of their four children were throwing up.
Not too long after they left, we decided it would be best for us to just pack up and head home. The best place to recuperate is definitely in your own home. So we packed up everything at around 2 am, and were headed home around 3:30 am.
We got home around 5:15 am, tucked ourselves into bed and slept until 11 o'clock. I was so glad that Ella was just as tired as we were. I wasn't ready to have to be up by 8 am. A little later on in the day, my mom came over and watched Ella for us so we could get a little more sleep.
I'm finally starting to feel a little more "normal" today. I'm still a little sleepy and just worn-down, but I'm on the up side of whatever I caught. Not such great news for the Clark family. Heather just got home from the hospital this morning and now everyone is ill. Please keep them all in your prayers.
Quite a Funny story from Family Camp:
Grace Leonard is our friends Ryan and Koralyn's daughter. Wednesday, around dinner time, I was just lying in my bed in the back end of the cabin. I had opened the window so that I could hear all the announcements and what not. Jonathan had ran to town and got me some vernor's (ginger ale) and said he would be back in the room after a bit with a glass for me.
I heard the screen door open and close loudly, so I figured it was Jonathan. Then I heard a rather loud pouring sound, so all seemed normal. But then I started hear what sounded like someone playing with the spring on the screen door, so I peaked around the corner and saw Grace standing by our door. I ask her what she was doing and she told me she couldn't find the potty. Obviously I was confused, so I said "what?" She then told me that she couldn't find her cabin, so I just told her that it was the one right next to ours and pointed. She said "ok" and left.
A couple minutes passed and Koralyn came in. She had a huge grin on her face and she said "Grace just peed on your floor" lol It was no big deal. Ryan came in and mopped up the floor. But it makes for a great camp story for years to come!

* Lights, Siren, ACTION *

Last night we ended up going over to our friends, Corey and Heather's house to celebrate Jonathan's birthday. A few other couples that we are tightly knit with were also there. I made my favorite chocolate cake with the white poofy frosting and mini m&m's sprinkled on top...YUMMY..Jonathan isn't much of a sweets person, so I got to decide what would be made.
The most interesting part of the night, however, was when Heather, Mary and Myself were on our way back to Heather's house to get Mary's keys which she had forgotten. There were a swarm of police out that night because of the "lakefront days" festivities.
Heather was just talking about how the lights on the dashboard don't work so she can never gage how fast she's going. We pulled down a side street, "I hope I'm not speeding" Heather commented, then lights, camera ACTION, we're getting pulled over. =) The thing was, Heather wasn't speeding, SHE NEVER TURNED THE HEADLIGHTS ON!! She was so nervous and we were all giggling and talking about how we couldn't believe that we were pulled over.
All ended well though, she didn't get a ticket or even a warning for that matter.
Later on during that very same night when we were on our way back to Heather's for the second time, we were gabbing away, turned down a side-street one block down from the last, and Heather realized she had forgotten again to turn her lights on, that is, after someone flashed us to let us know. Luckily, there were no cops down that street. Funny stuff....
It's always so good to get out and hang out with some friends. I had really been needing this for a long time and these girls are the best. Praise God that he will always supply us with the people we need the most and that need us the most.
All in all, Jonathan had a great birthday and the rest of us had a great time just being girls and hanging out. Loves!!!

...My crazy life...

Jonathan is turning 25 tomorrow. What is it about turning 25 that gets people a little bit sad? I mean, you're still young, still have fun, you're basically in the prime of your life! I guess I will view it differently once I get there, maybe I'll understand a little better. But to me, 25 doesn't sound so bad!
We're trying to decide what to do to celebrate, hopefully we'll get some friends together and head down to Grand Rapids for shopping and food. Or even make our way up to TC, eat and catch a movie or something. I've really been wanting to see "The Island"...if you've seen it...leave a review! =)
I've not been feeling well these last couple of days. I think it's due to the antibiotics I'm on right now. Apparently, I'm the type of person that deals a lot with bladder infections during pregnancies. With Ella, it landed me in the hospital. I was glad that I caught this one early so it didn't have to end up getting me emitted. I am on some pretty strong dosages though. So I think that's why it's been harder on my BOD.
Don't you wish sometimes that the answers to all of lifes questions were just readily available to you in a huge book with a killer index? Whenever I find an answer I'll jot it down, I could make a fortune! =)
Well, this post was a little here and there....but it's just the current things on my mind. There are some others, (the following statement is derived from the movie Superstar) but I think they'd best be expressed through a line from the hit TV show "Scrubs"..."Help me to help you, help me to help you, help me to help you."
Not really sure how that applies...lol but I'm tired. =) Alright, enough of this madness, I'm outtie.

**Random Thoughts**
So, tomorrow is my first Dr.'s appointment. The first one isn't much of anything, they just sit there and ask a ton of "health" questions, mostly pertaining to past generations. Heart diseases, cancers..bla bla bla...Praise God my children and myself and Jonathan are exempt from all of that. A God that healed us before we were even walking on this Earth. Claim it and it is yours! "By His stripes, we ARE healed." Isaah 53:5 *note* ARE healed, not WILL BE healed. Interesting....=)
Anyway, back to what I was saying before....The first appt. I'm not nervous because it's all stuff I've went through before, no biggy.
One thing I learned from my past experience? That you have to be very precise on what you pray for. God hears our prayers and he holds tight to them. You get what you pray for. *Remembering back when I was prego with Ella* "Lord, I just want Jonathan and I to be in the room when this baby is born, I don't want nurses running all around and whatever else..." Should've asked to have a Dr. too...oops! I have a totally different view of the bathroom floor. =)
On another note...FAMILY CAMP IS NEXT WEEK!!!! I'm so excited. Ella stayed with Jon's parents over-night last night, which meant I slept in. Ok, so I only slept until like 10:15...it's hard "sleeping in late" when you're so use to getting up early. Besides, it was bright out! Maybe if I had some super, crazy, thick blinds I would've slept later.
I really needed the sleep. I had been really SICK with morning sickness, but it was lasting ALL DAY LONG. I just really needed some relaxing time to get myself rested and well again, along with prayer.
Tonight was the last night of the Revival Center's Tent Meetings. It was good, but I was out around keeping Ella happy more than I was in the actual tent listening to the message. However, it was fine because I just really needed to get out, get some fresh air and run around a little.
My little tid-bit of insight for everyone: The meaning of life, wow, everyone's top question. The answer? To live your life for God. Spreading the gospel and loving people. Show yourself friendly, not only that, but be a friend. Reek of God's love and his care for his people. Cheesy you say? Well it's the truth and I don't care if it sounds cheesy. Make that you're goal today, to learn more about God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit. Be a friend to someone.

This is ME

  lacey commercial pic
Originally uploaded by Lacey Mac.
This picture was taken on June 7th of this year. For those of you who don't know me, or who haven't talked to me in quite a while, I'm happily married, have a 16 month old daughter and am almost 2 months along with McMahon number 2. All this and I'm not even 21 yet! lol I guess you could say I'm a little ahead of the game. I finally got out of my job at the Cadillac Family Pharmacy. Sure, it sounds harmless enough, but if you look closely you'll notice that all the old crabby ladies that work there actually have horns. I'm talkin' E-V-I-L. lol
Obviously there were a couple good ones in the bunch, myself being one of them and then my (ex) boss Mike and my girl Toni. Another chapter closed and a new one opened. Now I'm working in the office at First Baptist Church, I love it. Even though I'm not a Baptist. lol
Life has been great! I honestly can't complain. Jonathan and I are totally happy. Ella, my daughter, is a complete blast, life is good.
My sisters have both been busy making connections and getting their lives established. Olivia just moved to California a couple of weeks ago. She is going to work out there for a year and then "hopefully" attend the design school of her choice there. Amber is busy working for a marketing company here. She enjoys it for the most part and has learned a lot, but is now ready to move on to the next part of her life.
Well, I think that's enough of that. Now that the introductary part is over, I can begin writing more fun and interesting things. Silly things most likely. LOVES!!!
